Week’s Results:
Varsity
Soccer
KFS won the VCC Soccer
Tournament over Southampton Academy 3-1 on Friday, May 9. The Kavaliers also
finished first in the VCC regular season. John Cole, Tanner Grech and Glenn
Chappell were named VCC first team All Conference. Eric Hall was selected VCC
second team.
Varsity
Baseball
KFS finished second in the VCC
Tournament held at Brunswick Academy on Saturday, May 10. Kenston defeated
Southampton Academy and Brunswick Academy in tournament play before losing to
Steward School in the finals. Kenston finished second in the VCC for the
regular season and second in the State Ranking.
The Kavaliers season
ended on Tuesday, May 13th with a 6-1 loss to Broadwater Academy.
Johnny
Long, Bryson Stump, and CJ Newcomb were named VCC first team all conference.
Kris Leon was selected VCC second team. Michael Williams received All
Academic honors.
Varsity
Softball
KFS
finished third in the VCC regular season before losing 1-0 to Brunswick Academy
in the VCC tournament semifinals on Saturday, May 10. The Lady Kavaliers
defeated Amelia Academy in the first round. Kenston defeated Broadwater
Academy 7-2 on Tuesday, May 13th to advance to the state semi-finals on Friday
against Isle of Wight Academy at Dumbarton Elementary School in Richmond. Game
time is 5:00.
Allyson
Hudson and Rachel Caballero were named VCC first team all conference.
Savannah Barker and Jordan Wilhelm were selected to the second team all
conference. Allyson Hudson also received the VCC Most Valuable Player Award and Jordon
Spiers was named VCC All Academic.
