  • In January 2008, Alumni Court was dedicated in appreciation of 40 years of alumni support.  The darkened and worn court received a facelift restoring the original 1973 luster.
  • When the court was refurbished, the "original" Kavalier motif was relocated to the east wall of the gym.  Originally drawn and painted by Franklin Winn, it stood  proudly at center court until its retirement in December 2007.  KFS art instructor Allison Jones (wife of 1989 alumnus Peter Jones) painted the impressive re-creation of the original.
The fundraising auction sponsored by the Alumni Association combines great food, fun, goods and services.  The auction includes live and silent auction items, from beach house use to firearms to wine to bowl game tickets.  The auction has been held in the fall and on New Year's Eve.

The annual tuition raffle is another fundraising event sponsored by the Alumni Association.  The number of tickets are very limited (fewer than 400) increasing the ticketholder odds of winning a tuition or $5000 cash award.  The raffle drawing has been held at May Day and at the Texas Festival.
